February 12-14 @ 7:30 pm 12 actors, 15 short plays representing the finalists chosen from over 400 pieces submitted in 2019 from as far away as New Zealand. Friday, February 12 will feature 8 plays directed by Julian Findlay. Saturday, February 13 will have 7 plays under the direction of Ben Ware. Each night the audience members will have a chance to vote for their top 4 favorite shows, and Sunday, February 14, the top 8 shows (plus 1!) will be streamed again! Silverthorne Theater Company presents A Broadway Cabaret What better way to celebrate the return of live theater than with music? In our first major post-pandemic production, Silverthorne Theater Company presents A Broadway Cabaret, onstage August 6-8 in The Perch at Hawks & Reed Performing Arts Center in downtown Greenfield. Eight singer/actors will perform tunes from Broadway’s Golden Age shows - solos and ensemble numbers presented for audiences seated at cabaret tables arranged for maximum comfort and following whatever state guidelines for indoor performance are in place at that time. Silverthorne Theater Company and LAVA present: Gridlock by Ellen Meeropol Directed by Jan Maher June 11, 2021 7:30 p.m. Set in an unspecified re-purposed building in a small Western Massachusetts town, Northampton author and playwright Ellen Meeropol’s Gridlock tackles issues of climate change and radical activism as two sisters reunite after a fifty-year separation. On Friday, June 11, a public reading of this work-in-development will give audience members and artists the chance to hear and comment on this new play.
