Our Friends of Silverthorne are the lifeblood of the organization! We offer training for all positions, and benefits for our loyal volunteers.

There is no cost to being a member of Friends of Silverthorne – just step up and let us know how you would like to help!

House Management (on call to work at performances)
House Manager; Usher; Elevator Operator; Box Office Assistant

Performance Support
Show preparation (help out with load-in and set prep); backstage assistance; costuming support.

Publicity & Marketing
Social media help; distribution of publicity materials; represent STC at public events and civic gatherings (Farmer’s Markets, fairs, etc.)

Season Selection Committee*

Reads and assesses a range of scripts and recommends slates of plays for Silverthorne’s MainStage seasons and Theatre Thursdays Play Reading Series.

Development Committee*

Leads the board and outside volunteers in supporting STC’s fundraising and development efforts.

Board of Directors membership*
Active role in governing the Company.

We are currently looking for passionate people who have:

– Experience with financial management.

– Interest or experience in fundraising.

– Experience learning visioning/strategic planning efforts.

– Time and capacity to contribute!
