    Silverthorne Theater Company presents a staged reading of playwright Julia Byrne’s new play, The Scariest Thing to See in the Woods. Directed by Ezekiel Baskin, the reading will take place at 7:00pm on Thursday, April 24th, 2025 at the Shea Theater in Turners Falls as a part of Silverthorne’s 2025 Theater Thursdays reading series, with a talkback to follow. Starring Gabriel CiFuentes, Sophia Defayette, Jake Kuhn, Marcus Neverson, and Weaver. Tickets are free, and Silverthorne welcomes donations so that we can continue making our work accessible to all. This reading is made possible by the generous support of the Greenfield Cultural Council and the Montague Cultural Council, local agencies which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. Directed by Hia Ghosh and Rose Schwietz Malla, the reading will take place at 7:00pm on Thursday, April 2nd, 2026 at Holyoke Media in Holyoke as a part of Silverthorne’s 2026 Theater Thursdays reading series, with a talkback to follow. Starring Meena Cunniffe, Hia Ghosh, Sabine Denise Jacques, Suraj Malla, and Saikiran Mullaguri, with stage directions read by Urgyen Joshi.
